AMIEL VICTOR A. ASUNCION

 Atty. Asuncion’s primary areas of practice are Litigation, Labor Law and Employment, and Real Estate Law. 

In September 2023, he joined Magtibay Angeles & Alfelor as a Partner.

Prior to joining the firm, Atty. Asuncion was an Associate in Villaraza Cruz Marcelo & Angangco, and in Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako.  Moreover, Atty. Asuncion has previous experience working for the Philippine Government, as legal counsel for the President & Chief Operating Officer of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, in 2012.

For close to a decade, Atty. Asuncion has served as legal counsel for a major real estate developer, and for the past two years, has concurrently served as the head of its Human Resources Department.  As legal counsel, Atty. Asuncion has represented the company before various courts and administrative bodies, as well as handled the company’s real estate acquisitions.

Atty. Asuncion obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila School of Law in 2010.  He earlier received his Bachelor of Arts Degree, Major in Philosophy,  Minor in English Literature, from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2006.  He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2011.
